Quickstart

Get started with JAIPilot CLI

Install JAIPilot, sign in, and run your first Java testing workflow from a project directory.

  1. Install JAIPilot

Install the native CLI on macOS or Linux. No additional runtime installation is required.

    Install JAIPilot
    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/JAIPilot/jaipilot/main/install.sh | sh
    Update JAIPilot
    jaipilot update

The installer verifies the download and installs to ~/.local/bin. Follow its PATH instructions if prompted.

  2. Sign in to JAIPilot

Run the command, then complete sign-in in your browser with your JAIPilot account.

    jaipilot auth login

Your CLI uses the same account, subscription, and credits as the IntelliJ plugin.

  3. Run your first Java testing workflow

Open your Java Git repository. Replace the example with a fully qualified class from your project, then generate focused tests.

    Generate tests for a class
    jaipilot run generate_tests --class com.acme.OrderService

Use jaipilot workflows to explore the available outcomes. Review the diff and the reported build, test, and coverage evidence after each run.
